Frequently asked questions

Where can I get a vaccine?

Our best resource for finding an appointment is here, where we publish everything we know about where someone might find vaccines and appointments. Our volunteers are constantly updating the list so that it’s accurate and up-to-date.

When am I eligible to get vaccinated?

If you're 12+ and live, work, or go to school in New Jersey, you are eligible to get vaccinated. However, some vaccination sites do have stricter rules (for example, a county site might require you to live in that particular county), so it's best to double-check here.

When will more vaccines arrive?

We're volunteers and don't represent the government or any healthcare provider, so we can’t predict the future for vaccine distribution and don’t control who gets appointments, but what we can do is publish this information here as soon as we know about it.

How can we get in touch with the government or a healthcare provider?

We're volunteers and don't represent the government or any healthcare provider, so we don’t control their decision-making on things like vaccination eligibility or distribution. The state government recently set up a hotline at 1-855-568-0545, which puts you in touch with someone who represents the NJ state government response.

How can I fix a pre-registration mistake?

If you’d like to correct information from your pre-registration form, we’d recommend making an update through the official state website’s form here. You may also have luck going through the pre-registration process again using a different email address.

Is the information on this website accurate?

We publish information that we receive as soon as we can. Things might change but we'll do our best to stay on top of them as they do. If something is incorrect on this website, please get in touch as soon as you can and we'll fix it!

Can I embed Vaccinate NJ into my website?

You can find the iframe embed code here.

How can I help?

  • Continue keeping yourself and your loved ones safe.
  • Get the word out about this website. Anyone in NJ can find up-to-date information about where and when they can get the vaccine.
  • Encourage people to use this website instead of calling vaccination sites themselves so medical workers have less work to do.
  • Feel free to sign up here and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!

Who is involved with this effort?

We are a community of volunteers and do not represent the government or any healthcare provider.
